Encouraging self-expression, amplifying youth voice, and fostering a community where rangatahi can succeed. We want to help create a community where youth today are able to follow their dreams without restraint, and promote inclusivity, equality, and prosperity for all.
Our Vision
Represent Youth
We endeavour to be a voice for youth across the shore by providing a space and official channel for young people to engage with.
Empower Youth
When young voices are heard, we can empower ourselves to reach our full potential in engaging with the things that matter to young people.
Create Opportunnity
By creating opportunities for youth across every facet of life. From running events, connecting and creating a vibrant community, to facilitating political and social consciousness. If youth think of it, we can help make it happen.

Our Objectives
Our Environment
AIM: Promoting kaitiakitanga, sustainability, and a green future. We want our rangatahi to realise the importance of our environment, and how we must learn to both care and treasure it as we traverse the modern world.
HOW: Empower rangatahi as kaitiaki by integrating mātauranga Māori into hands-on learning, youth-led projects like forest clean-ups and native planting, and digital challenges. Through mentorship, leadership workshops, and community partnerships, rangatahi build skills to protect Papatūānuku, foster sustainable habits, and lead a green future with pride and action.
Our People
AIM: To empower rangatahi to confidently pursue their dreams, recognise and embrace their unique talents, and authentically express themselves. We wish for youth to experience this while fostering strong peer connections, accessible emotional support, and enhanced mental health resources to promote overall well-being and broader community outreach.
HOW: We will hold events such as Open Mic Night, Art Exhibitions, and Sip & Paint, to immerse rangatahi in the opportunities in the local community. Our events will be open to all, so that youth can connect and meet a wide range of diverse individuals. This will enhance youth confidence and foster a group of capable rangatahi.
Our Community
Our community & Facilities
AIM: Diversify and deepen our use of community spaces by prioritising arts and culture venues across the Devonport-Takapuna area, amplifying youth creativity, providing exhibition and performance opportunities for youth, while fostering a vibrant cultural scene for rangatahi to connect.
HOW: Create greater awareness of youth-friendly facilities like Shore Junction (a core hub for casual hangouts, tech, music, and creative projects) through social media campaigns and our events for rangitahi. Additionally, we will engage in a wider range of local community facilities, which will promote the diverse range of businesses and organisations available to youth. Build partnerships with dedicated arts venues to provide professional opportunities for young artists and performers.
